For Church Leaders
Healing meetings attract a broad range of people, some of whom may never have been to church before. So Peter avoids speaking or behaving in a way that would confuse a non-Christian. His talk is very simple, often funny, and can usually be understood by anyone! After his talk, he will pray personally for anyone who desires it and he tries to spend a little time with each person, especially if they are not healed instantly. Many are able to give immediate testimony to healing. Peter never claims to be the healer or have any special powers, and all are directed to put their faith in Jesus Christ. Any seekers or prodigals present are encouraged to find out more about the Lord.
If you are considering inviting Peter to come to your church, you may be interested to read these comments written by other church leaders about his ministry.
"Peter ministers the truth and power of a healing ministry. Without any hype, Peter ministers to the sick with pastoral love and patience, giving each one time and personal ministry. Without doubt several people were healed on his visit, one man in particular who had suffered for many years form severe panic attacks when mixing in crowds gave his life to the Lord and has not missed a Sunday meeting since Peter's visit." Joe Hayes, Pastor, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria
"I never believed healing could be so fun until I witnessed the ministry of Peter Cavanna at work. His down-to-earth approach touches Heaven in amazing ways!" Nick Butt, Elder, "The Sovereign Centre" Downham Market, Norfolk
"Peter Cavanna was such a blessing to the people of Brazil. People were amazed when the blind could see or a lethal cancer disappeared bringing hundreds to receive Jesus as Saviour and Lord. His powerful message about the cross of Christ made alive the reality of the crucifixion to our hearts and minds. God bless this preacher and his powerful message!" Douglas Junior, Evangelist, Brazil

"Peter operates with a high level of integrity and humility, and his humour grants him access to the hearts of his listeners with the greatest of ease. I not only endorse, but highly recommend his ministry to your church. Be ready to be uplifted!" Paddy Verner, Pastor, "Earlham Christian Centre", Norwich
"Peter Cavanna regularly sees the supernatural healing power of God manifested in his meetings. I have ministered with him and highly recommend his ministry and his integrity as a man of God. He has a wonderful sense of humour and demonstrates a great love for the people he ministers to." John Mellor, Evangelist, Australia

"To see what God has done through this servant of God is an encouragement to all in the body of Christ. I have seen a real servant heart at work. Kingdom minded, humble and moving in the realm of the prophetic, Peter has proved God in the difficult times of ministry and gives Him the glory for whatever 'sense of success' there has been. Within the region, wherever Peter has ministered, I have always heard people speaking in a very positive way concerning his all round ministry."
Dave Puddle, Assemblies of God Regional Superintendent, Eastern Region
"Peter Cavanna's healing ministry is refreshingly balanced, practical and wise; at the same time there is a powerful anointing of God upon him. His down to earth humour and low key style are major keys to his effectiveness and are a healthy corrective to the extremism and hype of some healing ministries. Many in our congregation, including myself, have received healing as a result of his visit. I believe that his ministry will significantly impact churches in the UK and beyond."
John Gordon, Elder, Bridport Christian Fellowship, Dorset
"Peter's passion to see people healed and set free is evidenced in his ministry. His compassion for people refreshing. He was a blessing to us."
Rajiv Ellalasingham, Pastor, New Life Church Saffron Walden, Essex
"Peter's visit was greatly appreciated. I was greatly encouraged and the church folks are much more filled with faith. I fully intend to preach and believe for the miraculous!"
Alan Lowe, Pastor, Sutton Christian Fellowship, Sutton, Nottinghamshire
